DEATH OF A GARAGE SALE NEWBIE
by Sharon Dunn

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Many interesting themes are explored in an original way in the first book of this fun new series. Readers will have a great deal to think about in regard to money and marriage, but they'll also enjoy a delightful mystery. The solution to the case is a bit too convenient and unrealistic, but overall Dunn's novel holds appeal for bargain hunters everywhere.

Ginger, Kindra, Suzanne and Mary Margret have little in common except for their desire to be frugal. They combine forces as the Bargain Hunters Network and scour their area for good deals. When Mary Margret disappears, leaving behind only a basket of items purchased at garage sales and a frightened telephone call, the others expect the worst. They are determined to follow the clues Mary Margret left behind in order to discover what happened to their friend. (MULTNOMAH, Mar., 300 pp., $12.99)
