Book Review

by Diane Kelly

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

Kelly’s latest Tara Holloway mystery has a vibrant and breezy writing style. It’s a pleasure to read, and Tara is easy to love. The thugs she is trying to bring down are so slimy, readers will definitely hope they get their just deserts. With a surprise cliffhanger ending, it’s a guaranteed hit.

Tara’s life is getting unfairly busy. Not only is she required to attend the trial of the mortgage-frauding “tennis racketeers,” she has a new assignment: Go undercover at a strip club to “strip” the sleazeball owner of his prostitution and drug-funded assets. To add to her frustrations, she and Special Agent Nick are trying to start a relationship, but their hectic schedules and Tara’s promise to her ex make things difficult. (ST.
