Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

The suspenseful fourth outing of Thurman's journey into the lives of half-brothers Cal and Niko Leandros takes a slightly different tack by exploring events from alternating first-person viewpoints. As the line of those wanting to kill them increases, readers are assured of copious amounts of gut-wrenching action and creepy thrills!

As Niko and his half-human/half-Auphe brother Cal attempt to live their lives in New York, they constantly keep an eye out for the vicious and evil Auphe who plan on killing them. The brothers' newest case at their preternatural detective agency involves finding out who's stalking the vampire Seamus. Things take a nightmarish turn when a gang of Auphe arrives with revenge on their minds. Before Cal's horrific "family" kills him, they want to make him suffer by slaughtering everyone important to him. Then things really start to get ugly. (ROC, Mar., 352 pp., $7.99)
