THE DEBT COLLECTOR
by Lynn Hightower

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Procedural

Home invasions are the kind of call homicide cop Sonora Blair really hates and this is the worst shes seen. When she arrives at the Stinnet household, she finds the bodies of Mr. Stinnet and two of his
children. She also finds the barely alive Mrs. Stinnet, cradling an unscathed baby. The woman keeps on repeating the catechism but before she dies, Sonora learns from her that two men were responsible for the carnage but the third man, an angel, saved the baby and tried to stop them.

Using Mrs. Stinnets description and information gleaned from a retired cop, Sonora begins to build a case against two sociopaths but the evidence seems to point to a third man as well, Mrs. Stinnets angel. As the police track down the suspected perpetrators, Sonora pursues the third man theory, with horrifying results.

Incredibly suspenseful, THE DEBT COLLECTOR is a white-knuckle read. Lynn Hightower creates an explosive scenario featuring a heroine who becomes totally involved with her case.
