DECEIVING LIES
by Molly McAdams

Genre: Young Adult, New Adult

RT Rating

Fans frustrated with the cliffhanger ending of Forgiving Lies will quite simply love how Deceiving Lies wraps everything up — and in a such swoon-worthy manner! The sweet epilogue alone is everything readers could want and more, yet there is so much more to love about McAdams’ latest. This is one of those stories that makes you just want to sigh, as you become emotionally invested in Kash and Rachel’s enduring love story.

After the year they’ve had, Kash is ready to marry Rachel and move on with their lives, but does Rachel feel the same way? When Kash takes her back home with him, his past as an undercover narcotics agent catches up with him — in the worst imaginable way. Using her as a pawn, a gang member is ordered to kidnap Rachel and take her hostage. But what will happen when Rachel’s captor falls in love with her? And to what lengths will Kash go to get his love back? (WILLIAM MORROW, Mar., 336 pp., $14.99, ISBN: 9780062299314, PB, 18 & Up)
