Sizzling hot, but also frankly and deeply emotional, this is another star turn from Hart. The characters are wonderfully depicted-- especially super-sexy hero Nick. A don't-miss reading experience.

Separated from her husband after almost two decades of marriage, Bess McNamara Walsh returns to the beach house where she spent her summers during college. Returning there brings back a lot of memories -- of working as a waitress to pay for school, her friends and, most vividly of all, Nick Hamilton, the bad boy who got away. Bess never heard from Nick after she left the last time -- to go home, marry Andy and raise two sons -- but she's always wondered what became of him.

Walking on the beach, remembering their highly satisfying sexual relationship, Bess finds Nick again -- and they resume their affair. Is Nick a ghost? Bess doesn't know for sure, but as reality intrudes on their sexy summer, she realizes she must choose between living in the past with her lost love or moving on with her life. Bittersweet, haunting,

Bittersweet, haunting, poignant. A lost first love and a second chance albeit a short one. Erotic and loving, an opportunity many women wish they could have. Great story, makes me wonder if the author perhaps, experienced it herself.
