Book Review

DELICIOUS
by Lucy Monroe, Lori Foster, Sarah Title

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Anthology
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Three of today’s most popular contemporary authors have joined their considerable talents to create the town of Delicious, Ohio: full of apple trees, quaint charm and plenty of sizzle and spice. The funny, down-to-earth characters who fill the pages are wonderfully sympathetic and their chemistry is delightful, but it is the added dose of magic featured in each story that lends this book its unique charm. With subtle flair, Foster, Monroe and Title walk the narrow border between genres to great success.

As the blue moon rises over the apple orchards of Delicious, Ohio, the town’s residents are beginning to notice that strange and wonderful things are happening. The town’s widowed bookseller realizes that her neighbor may have ways of knowing far more about her personal fantasies than she ever imagined. Down at the Old Orchard Inn, an out-of-town investor stops by to question the inn’s old-fashioned but magnetically attractive manager. And over at the Apple of My Pie, a no-nonsense accountant is ready to ask the food truck’s baker for more than he ever dared. (KENSINGTON, Dec., 288 pp., $7.99)
