While the case may be supernatural, it takes good old-fashioned detective work to unlock the mystery behind this terrifying haunting. M.J.'s first-person worldview is both unique and enticing. With truly likable characters, plenty of chills and even a hint of romance, real-life psychic Laurie guarantees that readers are in for a spooktacularly thrilling ride!

The ghost-busting team of medium M.J. Holliday, her techie support, Gilley and new partner, hunky Dr. Steven Sable, are asked by M.J.'s good friend Karen to investigate the attack on her niece by a nasty ghost. Apparently the exclusive Northelm Boarding School is tormented by
a truly vicious ghost, aptly named Hatchet Jack.

At first M.J. and crew meet with skepticism and distrust, but when
M.J. is able to locate the body of
one of Jack's victims, a boy named Eric, things change. The power and demonic forces exhibited by Jack are the strongest and most dangerous M.J. has ever encountered. Sending this ghost to hell will be a pleasure. (OBSIDIAN, Mar., 304 pp., $6.99)
