Book Review

by Kaitlin O'Riley

Genre: Historical Romance, England, Victorian Period
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1871 London

RT Rating

O'Riley's second Hamilton sisters book entertains with a high-seas adventure. But the fast-paced beginning is slowed by a secondary plot involving the hero's sister, which does little to advance the story. This entertaining, lusty romance is enhanced, however, by characters from the first book.

Juliet Hamilton has always longed to visit far-off places and to meet new people. When she learns that shipping magnate Harrison Fleming is heading to New York on his clipper ship, the Sea Minx, she stows away. She is quickly discovered, presenting a dilemma for Capt. Fleming. Should he be a gentleman, turn the ship around and take Juliet back to her family, or keep heading to New York and his sister, who is desperately ill? (ZEBRA, Mar., 342 pp., $6.99)
