Palmer drops readers immediately into
a new world -- right along with heroine Kara. Though parts of the novel can be a bit tedious, readers will be flipping
the pages to learn the outcome of the various mysteries that are sprinkled throughout. Palmer has created a fun, realistic story and a great set of major and minor characters.
Normal, everyday girl Kara MacAllister is thrown into a completely new life just hours after her mother's death. Lyon, one of a group called the Feral Warriors, announces that Kara
is not only one of them, she's also the source of all of their power: the Radiant. Kara has just a short time to get used to her new job, her newfound immortality -- and the fact that she must secure the love of one of the men in the house. At the same time, she's battling the ominous feeling the house brings and the awful nightmares that won't go away. Will Kara rise to challenge, not to mention mate with the right man?
