Desi Rousseau is going through difficult times. For one thing, she's the prime suspect in her estranged husband's murder. Into her life comes Tam Neville, a gorgeous New Zealander who runs the local pub. The timing couldn't be worse to start a new relationship, but Tam makes Desi feel good about herself again. But just as she begins to let her guard down, she's arrested for murder. In Desi's Rescue (4.5), the second installment in the Sisters of the Mountain series, we're no closer to
figuring out who the murderer is, but Ruth Wind does such a superb job
of developing the relationship between Desi and Tam that readers won't mind waiting for the answers!
