It’s back to New Orleans for a terrifying new thriller featuring the investigative talents of detectives Rick Bentz and Reuben Montoya. The murder of a novice nun is only the first strike of a twisted killer. Jackson provides her readers with a tale that is layered with secrets and lies that are proving frighteningly fatal. Top-notch suspense from a true master!

Val Renard has returned to New Orleans to open a B&B. This is also where her troubled sister Camille is preparing to become a nun. Then Camille is found brutally strangled. Bentz and Montoya take the case, learning that Montoya knew both the victim and the prime suspect, Father Frank O’Toole, in high school. Father Frank is the prime suspect since he and Camille were having an affair. But when another nun is murdered, the case starts taking on the signs of a serial killer. Bentz is particularly concerned, for he fears the return of Father John, a monstrous killer assumed to be dead. (KENSINGTON, Apr., 432 pp, $25.00)
