DIED IN THE WOOL
by Elizabeth Ludwig, Janelle Mowery

Genre: Inspirational, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

This book, the second Massachusetts Mayhem mystery, is set in a small town with supporting characters who add to the plot with their witty banter and sleuthing skills. This writing team has delivered a solid whodunit murder mystery with a lovable romance that is equally pleasurable.

Local librarian and aspiring mystery writer Monah Trenary is closing up the library one evening when she is shocked to find one of the patrons dead. She calls on her boyfriend, police detective Mike Brockman, for help. The list of suspects begins to grow and when Monah’s name is added to the list, she is determined to solve the murder and clear her name. But when a second murder occurs, Monah finds herself in danger of being the next victim. (BARBOUR, Jun., 256 pp., $10.99)
