THE DISGRACED PRINCESS
THE DISGRACED PRINCESS (2) by Robyn Donald: Rosie Matthews and Prince Gerd shared a brief moment of passion years earlier, but Gerd felt betrayed when he discovered Rosie was more interested in his older brother. With Gerd’s brother happily married and grown-up Rosie a flirtatious woman, an attraction still burns between them. When Gerd discovers Rosie is a virgin, will he keep her as his mistress or make her his wife? Overall, this is a slow read, and while Donald develops her fictional kingdom with care, the same attention is not given to developing an engaging internal conflict between the hero and heroine.
