Book Review

A DISTANT MELODY
by Sarah Sundin

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

The first book in the Wings of Glory series is an intriguing story of love, loss and second chances. Sundin places the reader in the middle of the action as her complex, believable characters are forced to make difficult decisions.

Allie Miller, who's wealthy and about to be married, has everything she could ever want. But her timid ways and battered confidence keep her from following the path her heart desires -- one that will lead her away from the only world she's ever known. Lt. Walter Novak can't seem to speak to a single girl, until he meets Allie. Walt is falling in love but learns he's been betrayed. One lie leads to others, and Allie and Walt will learn the high cost of deceit. (REVELL, Mar., 432 pp., $14.99)
