THE DOCTOR’S MISSION (4) by Debbie Kaufman: Liberia, 1918: When his two volunteers arrive at the Newaka Mission Pastor William Mayweather praises God, for one of them is a doctor. Dr. Mary O’Hara is as surprised as the pastor, she thought he would be a stooped-over old man, not handsome and strong. Yet William is not thrilled at having a fragile-looking female doctor in the African jungle. Mary and William must learn to trust each other. Will these big-hearted people survive the African jungle and each other? Readers will not be disappointed with this great read. The characters are strong, capable individuals who want to help those in dire straits with no regards to their own safety.
