THE DOCTOR'S PREGNANT BRIDE? (4.5) by Susan Crosby: With rumors of wrongdoing swirling around the clinic where she's employed, nurse Sara Beth O'Connell is assigned to work with researcher Dr. Ted Bonner to find out what's really going on. They've always been very aware of each other, and now their simmering attraction appears to be coming to a boil -- especially after he impulsively asks her out on Valentine's Day! But long-unanswered questions about Sara Beth's paternity complicate her whole life, not just her budding relationship with Ted. A well-constructed plot, two great characters -- especially the hot absent-minded-professor hero -- and lots of witty dialogue combine for a memorable story.
