THE DOCTOR'S PRIVATE VISIT
THE DOCTOR'S PRIVATE VISIT (4.5) by AlTonya Washington: Capri Timmons is tired of men who want only sex. The photographer wants to save herself for marriage. She longs to leave Miami for the suburbs and ends up in the home next door to obstetrician Tiberius Evans, a man who has no desire to marry. Despite their best efforts, the two fall for one another and have a hard time dealing with their feelings, their misconceptions about relationships and their overwhelming desire. Their personalities are strong, making the author's task of bringing them together a daunting one. But Washington tackles the challenge easily and with finesse. There's great tension and maturation of the characters.
