New and familiar characters from the Hideaway series travel to a Navajo missionary school. Though the culprit is a little obvious, the reasons behind the villain's actions are a surprise. Native American culture clashes with Christian principles in the freshly original plot.

Sheila Metcalf cannot seem to escape the past that has haunted her since she was a child. After her mother's death at a Navajo Christian school, Sheila's father moved them to Missouri. Now a nurse, she's asked to return to the school
to help solve some other suspicious deaths. Can she reconcile her past with her present? (STEEPLE HILL, Jan., 416 pp., $13.95)
