DRAGONFLY

Author(s):

Hayes excels in writing great characters with rich backstories. Fans of science fiction will enjoy the world that she creates in this intergalactic tale. It is filled with spaceships, Imperial intrigue and rebel forces. While the multitude of aliases and complex overlapping spy identities are a bit confusing, this is a thrilling ride that will have readers looking for hidden agendas and spies everywhere.

Carrie Thatcher, a tough Imperial counter-terrorism agent, has a new target — the notorious rebel Dragonfly. She has been tasked with insinuating herself into Dragonfly's life and bringing him in by any means necessary, short of killing him. However, this is one order she might not be able to follow. This mission is very personal to Carrie since the Dragonfly murdered her team and her lover. But when she enters Dragonfly’s world, she realizes that not all of the information she has adds up. After getting to know Dragonfly, Carrie must answer the biggest question of her life — will she end up kissing or killing the man she once saw as an enemy. (MOMENTUM, Dec., dl., $8.50)
