Who would have guessed that prickly Raven’s story would turn out to be one of the best in this series? This super-hot tale involves minor D/s action, along with plenty of burn-up-the-sheets sex. Combine that with Raven’s struggle to learn how to trust, and some shocking surprises about her past, and you’ve got a not-to-be-missed story. This can be read as a stand-alone — but why would you want to? Here’s hoping Dane won’t run out of Brown family friends’ stories anytime soon!

Tattoo artist Raven is fiercely independent and hard to get to know. Only recently has she started to form relationships with the Brown family. When big-name attorney Jonah starts pursuing her, Raven is only in it for the dynamite sex. Jonah gradually earns Raven’s trust and, as he learns about her past, he’s impressed by her strength and resilience. Raven runs into resistance from Jonah’s wealthy family, but that takes a backseat to her personal issues when Raven’s beliefs about her family and upbringing are turned upside down.
