Book Review

by Janice Thompson

Genre: Inspirational, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Book three in the Weddings by Design series hits all the right notes, mixing equal parts romance and humor with the most delightful characters around. Gabi’s grandma steals the scene, but Gabi feels so real that she holds her own. The books stand alone quite well, but readers who read them in order get a better feel for the community and the main characters.

Stuck in a dead-end job at a bridal boutique, Gabi Delgado dreams of one day selling her own designs to the brides of Galveston, Texas. When she’s fired from the boutique, she’s humiliated in front of an influential client and Jordan Singer, an editor of Texas Bride magazine. But Jordan might be just what Gabi needs to shake her out of her comfort zone. (REVELL, Feb., 336 pp., $13.99)
