Book Review

DREAM LOVER
by Kristina Wright, editor

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal, Anthology

RT Rating

The erotic tales in the anthology differ in setting and character, but all are well written and passionate. There is a choice of paranormal seduction for every reader. All are original and entertaining.

Highlights of this 17-story anthology include Justine Elyot’s “Love Resurrection,” where an academic is seduced by the ghost of her favorite poet. A fairy comes for a sugar rush from a pretty baker in Shanna German’s “Devil’s Food.” In “Shattered Belle,” Craig Sorensen proves that even ghosts get a second chance at love.

In Alana Noël Voth’s “Moongirl Meets the Wolfman,” a shapeshifter finally finds his perfect mate. A Fae must defeat the demon with whom he made a bargain in order to stay with his lover in Ericka Hiatt’s “The Eye of Pearl.” A woman finds her dream lover and learns about her own desires in Kristina Wright’s “Thief of Dreams.” (CLEIS, May, 220 pp., $14.95)
