Weaver smoothly takes her characters from time period to time period in this interesting suspense novel. The narrative is repetitive, but it does move, just at a slightly slower pace.

While trapped in a coma, Elizabeth hears the music of country musician Rick Denning and meets him in her dreams, which span different eras. Rick is determined to find Elizabeth, the woman in his dreams, but he doesn’t know there is someone who is just as determined to see her dead. (BERKLEY SENSATION, Feb., 336 pp., $7.99)
