In this next perfect installment of the Grayson Family series, Ray does an outstanding job of bringing to life mother Ruth Grayson and her mission to marry off her children. Wondering what she'll come up with next will have readers turning pages at every opportunity. A great read from beginning to end, it's even excellent for an immediate re-read.

Brandon Grayson is determined that his mother will not marry him off, even though she's successfully done so with his older brothers. His best friend, Faith McBride, knows of his dilemma and is sympathetic and supportive, mainly because she secretly wants to be his wife. Comedy abounds as Brandon's bathroom is gutted and he's forced to stay at Faith's hotel.

Faith decides to win Brandon for herself before his mother can marry him off. Unbeknownst to her, she's falling right into Ruth's plans for her and Brandon. Brandon puts up a great fight but, in the end, he willingly tumbles into his mother's well-laid-out plans. (St. Martin's, Sep., 352 pp., $6.99)
