Lucy Ryan has long been haunted by precognitive dreams. Recently she's been dreaming about erotic sex with a handsome stranger, but then she has a vision of a murder. She rushes to the crime scene but isn't in time to save the victim. The killers see Lucy and chase her into the swamps around New Orleans, where Justin Guidry, who is taking a vacation from his life as a P.I., rescues her. Lucy is shocked to realize he's the man from her dreams. Are their futures somehow connected to the mysteries in their pasts? In Dreams (3) by Patricia Rosemoor is enjoyable, with the New Orleans setting spicing things up. But the mystery depends a little too much on coincidence, and the sexual attraction between Lucy and Justin seems forced.
