DREAMS OF THE DEAD

Image of Dreams of the Dead (Nina Reilly)

One of the best in the Nina Reilly series, this is an action-packed suspense story that gets better with every twist and turn. Nina is a tough yet flawed woman, a great character. The dialogue always rings true and O’Shaughnessy makes the reader care about all the secondary characters as well as the primary ones.

Nina Reilly is back in Lake Tahoe, running her law office and trying to make things work with her son’s father. Nina thought she would never again have to think of Jim Strong after he killed her husband and disappeared, but now someone is trying to steal his identity to get his share of his father’s resort. The real fear, though, is that Jim might still be alive and after Nina and her family again. (GALLERY, Jul., 352 pp., $25.00)
