Lelani Wakefield owns a gift shop, but her real talent is having psychic visions in her dreams. When she continually dreams of an attractive man who is in terrible trouble, Lelani contacts the Lotus Circle, a secret society of powerful women with extrasensory gifts, to help her regress to her past lives and give her an idea of how she can help this unknown man.

Joseph, an FBI agent deep undercover with a terrorist ring, is also dreaming -- of Lelani. Joseph, however, doesn't understand why he is dreaming of this beautiful woman or what she has to do with his situation. Will they figure it out in time?

The mother-daughter duo of Marilyn Campbell and Joie del Rio team up to pen an intriguing novel of reincarnation, past-life regressions and the power of dreams. While the past-life regressions are well done, it can sometimes get confusing, jumping from the main character's dreams to present and past lives. As long as the reader can keep everything straight, the story is great. (The Lotus Circle, Apr., 195 pp., $7.99)
