Image of Driftwood Lane: A Nantucket Love Story

Driftwood Lane is the fourth in a series, but stands on its own. Hunter makes each character significant and easily relatable to the reader. The spiritual theme comes at the end of the book when you are able to see the whole picture and can connect the main characters’ love for each other to Christ’s love for us.

When Meredith’s estranged father and stepmother die in an accident, she leaves her fiancé and career in St. Louis to take care of half-siblings she has never met and run her father’s bed and breakfast. Jake learns of his sister’s death and rushes to be with his niece and nephews. Sure that he can find evidence to prove that Meredith is an unfit guardian, Jake pretends he was hired to work at the inn. But as he gets to know her he realizes her true motives.
