Maggie Riley is determined to prove that her best friend's new man is a con artist out to steal her money. Ben Hunter is a former police officer gone undercover to catch the same con artist, who took advantage of his grandmother. Sparks of attraction fly when the two meet, but since they both have their sights set on a bigger prize, they're determined to fight the chemistry. Dixie Browning spins a story filled with so many characters it's often difficult to keep them straight. In her attempt to make them all three dimensional, she overloads the reader with inconsequential details that are more distracting than endearing. DRIVEN TO DISTRACTION (2) is a story that lives up to its name but not its potential.
