DRIVING HER WILD (4.5) by Meg Maguire: Maguire revisits Boston’s Wilinski Fight Academy for the third time in a tale featuring a new hire: retired female Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Steph Healy. Adjusting to her new life as a trainer, Steph is determined to date men of a higher caliber than those she hangs out with in the MMA world. Steph meets hot carpenter-turned-electrician Patrick Doherty, and though she tries to fight it, their attraction is undeniable. A realistic storyline with an unusual heroine and a struggling everyman hero makes this an easy story to like. And Steph and Patrick’s bedroom tumbles certainly don’t hurt.
