DROP DEAD, GORGEOUS!
by MaryJanice Davidson

Genre: Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Without having read 2005's Hello, Gorgeous!, the first book in Davidson's Cyborg series, readers may be puzzled at the assumed relationships between the main characters. The plot is lean early on, and readers may struggle to become engaged, but Davidson is unwavering in her humor and saucy, yet realistic, with the sex.

Determined not to be like his mobster family, Kevin Stone works for the government. While deep undercover, he's given an assignment by the Snakepit, the headquarters of the crime syndicate he has infiltrated: shoot and kill his boss's fiancee at their wedding.

Always the bridesmaid and never the bride, Jennifer "Jenny" Branch decides it's time for her to star in her own life. She teams up with Kevin after his shooting attempt goes awry and poses as his hostage to get him back into the Snakepit.

Their plan is to immediately bring down the crime syndicate and the criminals working within. The stakes are as high as their desire for each other while they work together on what could be their last day alive.
