THE DUKE AND MRS. DOUGLAS
by Donna Simpson

Genre: Regency Period, England

RT Rating

The Duke of Alban has a dual purpose—to spend some time hunting with friends and to visit his aunt. He needs this now after isolating himself for so long following his wife's abandonment. When Alban arrives at his hunting box and meets his Aunt Eliza's companion, widow Kittie Douglas, he experiences a powerful attraction. Due to Eliza's failing vision, Kittie wrote many letters to the Duke on her behalf, and consequently fell in love. This touching story by Donna Simpson leads Alban and Kittie to reach beyond nearly impossible obstacles and take a chance at a relationship in The Duke and Mrs. Douglas (4). (Jul., 256 pp., $4.99)
