In DYLAN'S LAST DARE (3), Patricia Thayer pits champion bull rider Dylan against troubled Brenna. All Dylan ever wanted was to be the best on the circuit, until an injury forces him into a long recovery. Brenna, a physical therapist, must convince Dylan to stop resisting treatment. To her dismay, Brenna finds that the key to his cooperation is also the thing that assures he will never be the man for her. Implausible plot contrivances hamper this novel, and a wealth of secondary characters provide a bit too much background.
