Byrd wraps up her Primal Instinct trilogy in sizzling style, while leaving open the possibility of future installments. As in previous books, she serves up plenty of action and passion that won't be denied. With new twists in the overarching plot and numerous intriguing secondary characters, Byrd still has avenues to explore. Great stuff!

A vision of what he could become has haunted Sheriff Riley Buchanan to the point where he drove off the woman he loved. With his Merrick blood close to fruition, Riley
and Watchman Kellen Scott have come to Purity, Wash., to find the third dark marker. Fate slaps Riley when he realizes that his lost love, Hope Summer, owns the property where the marker may be buried. Riley wanted to spare Hope from getting involved in his dark nature, but that's no longer an option.
