Picking up where the first book left off, book two in the Little Valley trilogy is easy to read. The author gives precise details of the customs and community of a small Amish town. The story doesn’t always flow smoothly, but it is still an enjoyable read that leaves questions unanswered in preparation for the final book in the series.

Still mourning the death of her fiancé Aden, Ella moves into the newly built home that was meant for the two of them. With two men still interested in pursuing a life with Ella, she is even more confused and unsure of what she should do. But when she agrees to care for three small children, her heart opens up to new possibilities that might just bring healing and the possibility of love in her future.
