EMBRACE
by Jessica Shirvington

Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal

RT Rating

One of the best YA novels we’ve seen in a while. Get ready for a confident, kick-butt, well-defined heroine. She is a woman who will let nothing get in her way. And the heroes! Oh my. Shirvington’s novel has a love triangle to rival others in the genre, as well as some great action scenes. With an amazing surprise ending, this title will have a place on my keeper bookshelf for years to come!

Violet Eden has had a hard life, from her mom’s death to her dad never being around. One person makes it all right: Lincoln. Violet has been in love with Lincoln forever, and just when things between them start heating up, everything changes. Turns out Violet is a Grigori, a hunter of exiled angels — and Lincoln is her destined partner. To complicate things further, Violet meets the sexy Phoenix, who’s willing to provide her with answers that Lincoln won’t. Now, with Violet’s life turned upside down and her trust in Lincoln gone, will she be able to put the past behind her and follow her destiny?
