Lowe has written a story that some may find confusing. Several of the paranormal elements are not
explained fully enough. While the
hero is much more well developed, more fleshing out of the heroine
would have helped. Also, this story
is not very erotic.

Sophia Hunter is on her way home from a speakeasy when she comes upon a group of people in Central Park. A man with long black hair grabs her attention. Daron notices Sophia too, and realizes she's his ashavi -- his soul mate. Sophia has magic buried deep within her, and realizes Daron does as well, which scares her. Daron must convince her that they are fated to be together. But danger surrounds them. Can they find the happiness they deserve? (ELLORASCAVE.COM, dl $5.95)
