Book Review

by Nancy J. Parra

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

Parra’s latest is a delight. The novel is a quick read filled with relatable, fun characters and a light, breezy writing style. The story does lack the element of suspense that would make it an outstanding mystery, but overall it’s enjoyable and worth reading.

Unemployed Pepper Pomeroy may have finally found her calling. Her sister’s boyfriend has enlisted her to help him plan a perfect proposal on a private jet, and she does such a superb job that he suggests she do it professionally. But before she can start her new venture, Pepper needs to solve the mystery of the dead guy in the jet hangar from the night of the proposal and make sure her sister doesn’t say “I do” to a murderer.
