Setting: Regency England

RT Rating

Now with her friends happily wed, it's up to Lucinda Barrett to follow through with her plan to educate a gentleman in the art of properly wooing a lady.

Robert Carroway knows all about her scheme. He's always been enchanted with wise, witty, sensitive Lucinda but kept his admiration well hidden. When Lucinda finally chooses Lord Geoffrey Newcombe
as her gentleman, he volunteers to help. Neither has any idea they will be caught in
a spymaster's web, exposing a Pandora's box of secrets Robert has kept hidden. By facing his love for Lucinda and catching a traitor Robert hopes to end his nightmares.

Enoch conveys the nuances of the era but most of all she knows her characters, their motivations and their passions. Writing with a deft hand, she crafts a dramatic story that is both romantic and filled with historical details. Delightful characters, led by Robert's brothers and friends, add depth. SENSUAL (Mar., 384 pp., $5.99)
