RT Rating

Black mingles some of the best themes here. A little magic, romance and gripping suspense combine to create an enchanting tale. Readers will take a step outside of the traditional story and dive into the world of Merlin, Morganna la Fay and dark warlords of magic. This is truly a top-notch addition to the Doomsday Brethren series.

Felicia’s prepared to walk down the aisle and marry a man she doesn’t love. What she’s not prepared for is her fiancé’s brother. Simon Northam, Duke of Hurstgrove, storms their wedding, announces her life is at risk and whisks her off. Her ability to disable magic has made her a target of a dark magician who wants to use her to enter Morganna la Fay’s tomb and retrieve the sorceress’s dark power. With it, he’ll be able to rule the world.

Simon Northam is committed to protecting Felicia at all costs — even if it means destroying his untenable relationship with his brother. When ensuring her protection means they must become mated for life, Simon is prepared for the consequences. Unless she loves him completely, mating with her risks his sanity and his life.
