ESPRESSO IN THE MORNING (4.5) by Dorie Graham: A traumatic attack leaves Claire Murphy and her son unable to spend any time in her quiet home, leaving their life one long round of hectic activity. But when Grey gets attached to Lucas Williams, the owner of a local coffee shop — and he’s not alone in his fascination with the barristo — Claire realizes she’ll never be able to have a relationship if she doesn’t get help to overcome the PTSD the attack caused. Graham does a wonderful job depicting her characters’ emotions and motivation in this emotionally satisfying story.
