by Norah Wilson

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Following her second vision of a murder, psychic veterinarian Lauren Townsend knows she cannot ignore the warning. The problem is locating the potential victim. Lauren does have one clue, a book of matches stamped with the name Foothills Guest Ranch. Rancher Cal Taggart is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. His cattle ranch is in trouble, so opening up part of it to guests makes financial sense. Cal's life is about to get really complicated when both his ex-wife Marlena and a highly attractive guest arrive on the ranch.

Lauren is startled by her reaction to Cal, especially when she realizes that his ex-wife is the woman whose murder she is trying to prevent. Could Cal be the killer? Marlena has made quite a mess of her life, so there are quite a few potential suspects.

Lauren's Eyes is Wilson's debut and the winner of Dorchester's New Voice in Romance contest for 2003. An exciting and thrilling debut with an inspired paranormal twist. (Aug., 320 pp., $5.99)
