EVERY WISH FULFILLED is a moving story of handicaps overcome and love's triumph.

Heather Duval has been lame since her father beat her when she was four years old. She is adopted by a loving couple who never allow her to feel anything other than loved.

However, due to her lameness and the stigma of being a "cripple," she believes she will never marry. With her strength and intelligence, she manages an estate that her adoptive father gave her on her 21st birthday.

Damien Tremayne returns to England to find his brother murdered and Heather's biological father the prime suspect. Damien battles his growing attraction to the daughter of his brother's killer, while Heather fights against loving a man she believes she can never have.

EVERY WISH FULFILLED is an emotional story of a compassionate, strong couple fighting against tremendous odds. Not only are their personal circumstances difficult, but their own insecurities form the greatest barrier to their happiness. Ms. James beautifully and sensitively tells a stunning romance. Readers will also enjoy revisiting Heather's parents, characters from one of Ms. James' earlier romances. SENSUAL (Jan., 400 pp., $5.50)
