THE EX FACTOR (3) by Nancy Warren: When Karen Petersham’s ex-husband, Dexter Crane, walks through the doors of her wedding-planning business, she fears the worst: that he’s going to be remarried. While it turns out that he’s there as the best man for a friend’s wedding, he does want to get remarried — to Karen. She doesn’t want anything from him other than a little ex-sex, and Dexter faces an uphill climb back into her good graces. The Ex Factor is well told with enough humor to keep readers turning the pages, despite a romantic subplot involving Karen’s cake decorator and her CPA that lacks tension.
