Calling all fans of romances featuring an older heroine and a younger man. Exhale will most definitely make readers want to exhale — and sigh — as it is a lovely story of a couple that doesn’t let an age-gap stand in the way of their happiness. The scenario works here because the romance is believable and gradual; there is a realistic progression as the heroine struggles internally from having self-doubt to gaining confidence. The excellent connection between the characters and their growth are the backbone to this story and allow readers to buy into this atypical romance.
