FBI agent Miranda Cutler must recruit the man who seduced her and then ruined her career a year earlier. She tries to convince herself that all she feels for Ray Ortega is hate, but when she goes after a member of a terrorist group on her own, Ortega comes to her aid and she's forced to rethink her opinion of him. In Exit Strategy (4.5), Kate Donovan does a great job of showing how power can corrupt even the best of us. Her characters are real in that they are not perfect, but they still manage to remain likeable. A great read!
