FAKING GRACE

Author(s):

Leigh's trademark humor and
character development add spark to
this story. The overall message that even Christians need forgiveness and grace will resonate with readers.

Maizy Grace Stewart is having difficulty making ends meet as a part-time journalist at a Nashville newspaper. When a position opens up
at Steeple Side Christian Resources, Maizy jumps at the opportunity. There's only one problem: Steeple Side only hires committed Christians, and she's not even a "cultural" Christian. So Maizy pretends to be a Christian. Easy, right? Wrong.

Everything is going fine until she bumps into her gorgeous managing editor, who sees right through her pretense. What's worse, the Nashville newspaper wants her to expose Steeple Side's dirty laundry. Will she have the guts to fulfill her dream as an investigative reporter, or will she allow her conscience to be her guide? (MULTNOMAH, Aug., 400 pp., $12.99)
