FALLING FOR MR. DARK AND DANGEROUS
Widow Maggie Taylor has her hands full, running a BandB and raising her daughter, Jennifer, alone. Then U.S. marshal Nate Griffith enters the picture and complicates her life even further. On the trail of a fugitive who once led Jennifer into a brush with the law, Nate's undercover and doesn't even tell Maggie, despite his growing feelings for her. She's furious when she finds out and terrified by his job -- her husband died violently at work. Donna Alward's Falling for Mr. Dark and Dangerous (3) has a credible conflict and a great sense of place, but the pace is very slow, despite Nate's occupation.
