FAMILIAR STRANGER
by Michele Hauf

Genre: Series, Silhouette Nocturne, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Demon hunter Jack Harris knows his business: killing demons, no questions asked. At least until he runs into fellow demon hunter Mersey Bane. A familiar who can change to cat form, she works for a competing organization that captures demons rather than killing them. While Jack is very attracted to Mersey, he's not sure he can get over her otherworldly status -- or her refusal to believe that all demons are bad. Michele Hauf's Familiar Stranger (4.5) contains
a novel idea that's brilliantly executed.
Her characters are fresh, as is her story, and readers won't want to put this
one down.
